Salem Heights Church

Growing to be a rather big church but it maintains that small church feeling. This is an amazing church for a few reasons... First, I had never been to a church where every single question the pastor and leadership got was answered by them FIRST opening the Bible and saying "let's see what the Bible has to say about this". That was the first thing that made me feel like I was in the right place. Second, I found the church because I wanted to go to a faith based recovery meeting because, well- other meetings felt a certain kind of way when anyone talked about God, they encouraged everyone to say "my higher power" whatever that may be- that didn't work for me... So, I went for their meeting called Most Excellent Way, and it was/is incredible! The leaders have been there, the support from peers is genuine and you can feel God at work there! Third reason is rooted in second- so, I loved the meetings but I wanted more so I went to check out the sunday service, to my surprise, I found that the WHOLE church is deeply rooted in recovery and renewal, the pastors are people you want to hear and the sermons are obviously written with great planning and prayer- i encourage anyone/EVERYONE to check it out and join! Oh, silly me! I almost forgot! For the children, this is where you want your kids! You never leave your littles with kids to just play and be sat.. you leave your kids in the hands of professionals that will be imparting the knowledge, verse memory and outlined biblical lesson plans each week- of course they play and have fun too! That my littles are not just shut in a room to play but actually learning the greatness of God is PRICELESS!!! OK, I'm done. ,🥰

Love this place. Been coming here for years and singing in the choir. Makes ALL people feel 🤗 even service pups. They have every kind of childcare you could imagine and lots of staff to help. Great child tracking systems as well for safety reasons. You really feel loved and wanted when you come here. Best special music performances in town as well.

I love this church for many reasons, they all made me feel genuinely welcomed. U can feel the love. I feel like I can b open and honest about things I'm not proud of in my past before I became a believer. I Truely believe I won't b judged. Plus I've met the woman of my dreams there, hope to marry her there one day, God willing of course..

You'll hear the word of God here. The pastors do a great job. The worship team helps lead the church in Christ centered praise. Many outreach programs and missions. Christ centered youth programs with security safeguards in place. Small group programs, bible studies, and newcomer groups. The body are being trained to display Christ's love in truth.
